Volia's softswitch is an add-on service for Volia Broadband users. It includes obtaining a VoIP number, call switching with other users of this service, and other features. VoIP allows for PC-to-PC or PC-to-IP voice data transmission.
The charge for the service is UAH 6.85 a month. The service is available to everyone for a fee in all Volia Broadband tariff plans. Thus, users of this add-on service get a trip play service package (3 services: TV, Internet, telephone).
Additional Advantages Over Other VoIP Providers:
- Non-billed traffic for voice communication offered by Volia
- Unlimited minutes without extra charge
- Voice traffic is quite expensive in other computer networks, which bill you separately for Ukrainian and international traffic, depending on whether the network belongs to the UA-IX Ukrainian traffic exchange point.
Additional Features:
- Call forwarding (conditional, unconditional)
- The Do Not Disturb mode
- Voice mail
You can order the service on your own on the Subscriber Website (click on the VoIP button to go to the VoIP section). The VoIP number (a 7-digit number in the Volia network) and access passwords are indicated on the Subscriber Website.
