- Place the modem near the computer not farther than 1 meter away.
- Connect the modem to the computer using either the supplied Ethernet cable or the supplied USB cable.
- Connect the modem to the CATV co-axial cable using a F-type connector and secure the connection with a nut.
- Connect the modem to supplied power adapter and plug the adaptor into the mains outlet.
- Modem installation is complete.
Once the modem is on and connected to the cable network, it will perform various self-tests and search for downstream and upstream channels. During the process various LEDs will blink. The process takes 20 to 60 seconds to complete and the first connection may take up to five minutes.
